The subsurface of the floor at Karakata Primary School’s library is badly pitted and needs repair.  Because of the pitting, the vinyl flooring purchased cannot yet be permanently installed.  This project is critically needed as the floor is being used and could develop rips in the vinyl if not fixed immediately.

Nepal / Earthquake disaster / 12-year-old Nanu Tatya standing in front of a rubble in Bhaktapur in the outskirts of Kathmandu. Nanu is still scared from the earthquake. She was too afraid to speak about the massive quake and the aftershocks. Her relatives said her house had been destroyed and she was living in a plastic tent with her family. / UNHCR / Brian Sokol / 29 April 2015

The children enjoy the new vinyl flooring.

Please help us repair the subsurface of the floor so that the new vinyl purchased doesn’t rip and tear.
